Who we build for

Firms whose clients arrive with a question, and a worry.

Here are some examples. Each tool does a different kind of job: one produces a document, one turns numbers into guidance, and one walks a person through a decision. All three are live. Try them.

Accountants · Brokers · Solicitors · Other firms

For accountants and bookkeepers

A tool that produces something the client can use.

Your client asks what an invoice needs to show to be valid for VAT. This one builds a straightforward invoice at a single VAT rate from what they type, with the fields HMRC lists for that case, and prints to PDF. The same approach builds engagement letters, fee quotes and onboarding forms.

What a full VAT invoice must show

A unique sequential number, the invoice date and the time of supply, your name, address and VAT number, the customer's name and address, a description of what was supplied with quantity and unit price, the VAT rate and the amounts before VAT, of VAT and in total. This example covers those fields for a straightforward invoice at one VAT rate, and it only prints when they are complete. Special cases such as reverse charge supplies, margin schemes and prompt payment discounts need more, and it is a demonstration, not a substitute for accounting software.

This is an example of a tool we build, not accounting software, and the details shown are fictional. Check the VAT treatment of what you sell with your accountant before invoicing.

For mortgage brokers and advisers

A tool that turns numbers into guidance.

Your client knows the price and roughly what they have saved. This one tells them their loan to value, what band it sits in and what the next band would cost in extra deposit, then sends them to you for the real conversation. Type the numbers or slide them.

How lenders read the number

Lenders price in bands, and the common steps are 95%, 90%, 85%, 75% and 60% loan to value. Lower loan to value may give access to lower rates, depending on the lender and product, which is why the extra deposit needed for the next band is worth knowing.

This is an illustration only, not advice, and not a lending decision. Rates, criteria and affordability checks vary by lender. Speak to your broker before relying on any of it.

For solicitors and HR advisers

A tool that walks a person through a decision.

Someone arrives unsure whether they are an employee, a worker or self-employed. This checker asks the five questions the government's own guidance turns on, reads them back factor by factor, and is honest when they do not settle it. The same machinery builds any staged decision: which notice to serve, whether a claim is in time, which route a matter takes.

Question 1 of 5

This is an illustration only, not advice, and should not be relied on when making decisions. Status depends on the whole picture of a working relationship. Speak to your solicitor before acting on it.

And other professional firms

The examples are ours. The approach is anyone's.

The three tools above are documents, guidance and decisions, and most professional firms need one or more of exactly those. Financial advisers whose clients ask what a pension contribution really costs. Surveyors whose enquirers want to know which survey they need. Architects asked whether an extension needs planning permission. Dental and veterinary practices asked what a treatment plan will come to. Letting agents asked which deposit scheme rules apply.

If your clients arrive with a question, we can usually put the first answer on your website, in your voice, with the wording checked and the compliance sign off yours. Tools are £550 each, priced on the same page as everything else, and the homepage mock-up is free.

After launch, Website Care is £15 a page, per visit, pay as you go, and hosting is free for your first year.
